We did it with Cole and now it’s Lana’s turn. Yes, she’s 100 days old (8.8) and here are the photos. It is a Korean custom to celebrate a child’s 100 day birthday (called the baek-il), in the old days infant mortality was much higher and reaching this milestone was an occasion to celebrate.

It’s been a crazy month + … which means not much in the way of posts… big events since the last post were visits from grandparents and aunt Debbie, trip to the beach (which went well) and hmmmm, lots of other stuff…

but here are some photos….

We checked out and got back here around noon yesterday. Cole went with Mary and Ray to the neighborhood potluck at the park down the street. Kate was glad to be back. Our first fun night - apparently Lana’s appetite can’t be satisfied (and she let’s you know it) - so it’s off to CVS at 2am for extra rations.

Lot’s of visitors in between eating and sleeping… Mary, Julie (Kate’s sister who also spent the previous night), my sister Stephanie, Juae, my Mom, Omar, Morieka, Will…

Well, it’s official, Cole – after a brief period of not liking “Sparkle’s” name - decides she’s pretty cool after all…
and now also was good to go with the group shot…

all’s well that ends well, she loved being rocked to sleep by him…
